The most easy and fancy way to prepare pain perdu French toast as in Parisian palace with just bread or brioche and vanilla ice-cream. Recipe adapted from the French Chef Jacques Pépin.

Ingredients

brioche

vanilla ice-cream
1 per slice of brioche
2
knobs
butter
large knobs
Instructions
Place vanilla ice-cream in a plate, allow to gently melt.
Heat butter in a pan.
Soak slices of brioche in melted vanilla ice-cream, not for long, just to coat them, flip them to coat them on the other side.
Fry brioche on both side until you get a nice golden brown color. Eventually add more butter.
Notes
Serve immediately when still warm.
